The convergence of the project I am working on following my expeditions with Cape Farewell, an exhibition exchange project with Brisbane Uni, and all these exhibitions open/ opening currently is really really exciting.

The Science Museum has not one but two very apt shows, including this.

I love the buzz of working on an idea, then seeing it pop up all over the place, realising that there are other people thinking along the same lines and feeling able to contribute to the discussion. It must be a sign of my growing confidence (pardon my immodesty. cockiness?) that I feel like this.

The objects and materials we surround ourselves with, for better or for worse, affect our day to day thinking and living. What becomes of them? What becomes of us?
